Application:
Disc Brakes:
Apply a very thin layer of the compound to the edge of the metal
backing plates of all disc brake pads and at the point of piston
contact.
Caliper designs which use clip on suppression shims: Apply a
very thin layer to both sides of the shim, pins, “O” Rings, and
slides prior to installation.
Shoe Brakes:
Apply a thin layer to anchor pins, shoe contact areas of the backing
plates.
Warning:
Do not allow this material to come in contact with the friction
service of the brake
lining or the rotor surface. Should this happen, clean the
surface immediately
and towel dry surface.
