There are dozens of different types of hydraulic
oils for general and specialty hydraulic applications, hydraulic
oil function and maintenance. These oils can be sorted by
their
base oils or performance characteristics. Hydraulic oil characteristics
that are important for determining the appropriate hydraulic oil
include: viscosity, viscosity index, base oil, operating temperature
range, anti-wear requirements, oxidation stability, corrosion
resistance, de-emulsification stability and resistance to foaming.
Listed below are some of our standard hydraulic oils for general
and specific applications.
This is not a complete list of the available hydraulic oils. If
the hydraulic oil you require is not available please utilize
the Request
for Recommendation button or if you need a product equivalent

Standard Hydraulic Oils:
(Puroil HO Series): Clearly the most common type of hydraulic
oil. These products are inexpensive and functional for most hydraulic
applications.
Anti-Leak Hydraulic Oils:
(Puroil AL Series): Hydraulic oils blended with additives that
reduce drip, splatter and reduce leakage.
Synthetic Hydraulic Oils:
(Puroil SHO Series): Superior performance over a wide temperature
range (-70oF to 400oF), these oils are biodegradable and environmentally
safe.
Water Based Hydraulic Oils: (PureSafe
Series): Inexpensive
hydraulic fluid for less severe applications in warm climates.
Fire Resistant Hydraulic Oils: (PureSafe Series): Self
extinguishing hydraulic oils for use in applications where high
heat and fire risk is a factor and safety needs to be assured.
Food Grade Hydraulic Oils: These hydraulic oils are acceptable
as a lubricant with incidental food contact for use in official
establishments operating under the Federal Meat & Poultry Products
Inspection Program.
Mil-Spec Hydraulic Oils: These
hydraulic oils are approved to military specifications.
