The function of a hydraulic fluid is to transmit power by applying the fundamental principles of hydraulics as they relate to fluids in motion and to reproduce quickly, any change in direction or magnitude. Hydraulics are selected on a basis of viscosity, pour point, pump requirements and anti-wear characteristics. All Mil-Spec Hydraulic Oils are qualified for turbine hydraulic systems, platform and warehouse machines.
