Water Based Hydraulic & Circulating Oils
The function of a hydraulic fluid is to
transmit power by applying the fundamental principles of
hydraulics as they relate to fluids in motion and to reproduce,
quickly, any change in direction or magnitude. These fluids
utilize water bases for fire resistance and economical
advantages.
PureSafe hydraulic oils with manufacturer
prescribed viscosity exceed the requirements for industrial and
mobile hydraulic systems.
PureSafe FR-200 Series Fire Resistant Fluid
This is a series of water glycol based fire resistant hydraulic
fluids; variations of this material are available depending
upon application requirements. Normal operating pump pressures
are up to 2000 psi continuous or 3000 psi surge. These products
are used for die casting, steel and non-ferrous mills, as well
as general purpose medium pressure applications. PureSafe FR-200
products
are indicated by their red color.
PureSafe IFR-100 Series Fire Resistant
Fluid
These invert emulsions are used for low to medium pressure fire
resistant hydraulic fluid operations. Normal operating pressures
are 300 psi up to a maximum of 800 psi. Their application are
low-pressure die casting and similar operations where low cost
and low pressures are most important. PureSafe IFR-100 is a
white colored product for easy identification.
PureSafe FR-310 Fire Resistant Hydraulic
Fluid
This straight phosphate ester product affords the maximum pump
life of all fire resistant fluids. PureSafe FR-310 is capable
of operating at extremely high pump pressures. It is green in
color.
PureSafe FR 303-M Fire Resistant Fluid
This product is an economy version of PureSafe FR 303-M (straight
phosphate ester). It is used where a non-aqueous fluid is required.
It operates at pump pressures up to 3500 psi. It is a wise substitute
for polyol esters sometimes used as fire resistant hydraulic
fluids. It is brown (oil colored) for identification.
PureSafe 95-5 Series Fire Resistant Fluids
This series contains both soluble oils and soluble synthetic
oils. These fluids come pre-mixed at the 95-5 water and oil
dilution ratios. PureSafe is formulated for low pressure such
as 300 psi. PureSafe 95-5 is opaque in color.
