Vanishing / Drying Oils
PureVan Oils are by name and function vanishing
oils that save money and time by reducing or eliminating cleaning
operations by evaporation leaving parts dry and oil free in most
cases. Some formulations incorporating extreme pressure additives
may leave a miniscule film, which generally does not require removal.
PureVan Oils are odorless, non-staining and fast
drying. During stamping, roll forming and blanking applications
PureVan Oils wet out on the surface and cool the metal with a
light coating of lubricant. Additives incorporated into these
oils include wetting agents, finishing and extreme pressure compounds.
Note:
All PureVan Oils have viscosity ranges between 30-40 SUS @ 100oF and may be flammable so customary fire safety precautions should
be exercised. High flash PureVan Oils are available.
All PureVan Oils are available with a light corrosion
inhibitor for in-process protection. These PureVan Oils have an
RP (rust prevention) after their number (i.e.: PureVan 1RP).
