Plastics
There are dozens of different PureRelease agents for thermoset,
thermoplastic, rubber, composites, and engineered resin systems
formulated for the exacting requirements of the plastic’s industry.
PureRelease agents include both internal and external agents,
processing aids that ensure efficient production, and high quality
finishes.
Listed below are our standard release agents for the plastics
industry and for specific applications. This is not a complete
list of the PureRelease agents available. If you would like assistance

Paste Waxes:
These waxes provide a hard, durable, glossy, waxy film. Easily withstand
high exothermic temperatures and will accept PVA without “fish-eyeing”.
Liquid Waxes:
Liquid mold release agent that cleans as it waxes. These materials
prevent buildup of textured mold surfaces allowing good reproduction
of surface detail with luster and paintability.
PVA Film:
A clear high grade PVA solution providing an effective parting agent
for many resin systems and fast evaporation rate for ease of use. These
materials are available clear or in a variety of dies.
Releasing Gel:
An economical and versatile mold release agent in gel form that
provides a paintable surface. This is a non-hazardous material with
high temperature molding capabilities.
Cleaners & Sealers:
Remove wax build-up, smooth out scratches, seal pores, with these
maintenance materials for your molds.
NOD Fluorocarbons:
High temperature external release agent for all thermoset resin
composites. Capable of withstanding molding temperatures in excess
of 550oF without deterioration. These materials do not contain any
ozone depleting chemicals!
Semi-Permanents (solvent-based):
These release agents set up on the mold quickly reducing set-up
time. Available for a wide variety of materials and processes.
Semi-Permanents (water-based):
Internal mold release agent
- lubricant - processing aid - for a broad range of resin compounds.
These materials improve resin flows and anti-static properties.
Styrene Suppressant:
Makes low VOC emission versions of conventional polyester resins.
Water-Based Releaseants:
These concentrates are diluted with water for greater cost savings.
May also be utilized for fabricating intricate configuration friction
material parts.
